Hark! A Vagrant is the only reason I know anything about Wuthering Heights, to the point that I’m sure I would find the actual book disappointing in comparison.(While I had encountered each of the comics before on her website, that had been several years ago and this is the first time I read the book.) So, I’m just going to share a set of thoughts I had while reading the book. It’s very hard to describe comics that are more or less comic strips, as there is no ongoing story line or set of characters. Step Aside, Pops is her second print collection of comics. Her comics often feature historical or literary figures, as well as pop culture references. If you are unaware of Kate Beaton’s webcomic Hark! A Vagrant, then I am very excited to be the person to introduce it to you.
